Champions of the Solomon Islands International Sevens tournament, the Vanuatu Barbarians, need all the support they can get, to ensure that they can compete in the Oceania Sevens Championships in November, later this year.

VBTC Sport received reports that the Vanuatu Barbians team has already begun preparing for the sevens tournament, which will involve teams from many other pacific island nations.

The Vanuatu Rugby Football Union, has said that it hopes that the team will be able to do well and qualify for the World Sevens Series.

As such the VRFU has opened an account with the ANZ Bank where individuals and business houses can deposit donations which will go towards helping the team in its endeavour.
