The Department of Lifestock is continuing to roll out its program to the outer islands of Vanuatu.
It has been establishing breeding centers in each of the main islands, to ensure that farmers all over Vanuatu, will be able to access these centers easier and at the cheaper cost.
Breed layers and broiler and sussex chicken, which will be given to farmers to help them improve their farming of poultry.
These breeds have been proven to be fast growing breeds to allow farmers to be able to access money quicker.
The Department appeals to the communities who live around the main Tagabe area in Port Vila, to help stop people who are entering the center illegally and stealing the birds.
They say that the center is very willing to help anyone who needs it, and there is no need to steal.

This is an initiative of director of Livestock, Lonny Bong.
