The United Liberation Movement of West Papua has attained land on which to establish an office in Vanuatu.
The government of Vanuatu has assisted in the purchase of the land in Port Vila, from lessor Thomas Joseph, who willing sold the piece of land to the government.
The Minister of Lands, Alfred Maoh, says that in advocating for human rights for West Papua's, Vanuatu is now aiding the people to attain political independence.
He said that  Vanuatu's government is committed to helping our Melanesian brothers and sisters in West Papua.
