This year's Smart Sisters Team which will be flying Vanuatu's flag at this year's Global Robotics Challenge gave a presentation to sponsors, parents and the media yesterday afternoon.
The team, their mentor Romney Marum and Team leader Philemon Rodney made a presentation of last year's challenge and operation of this year's robot.
The robot was built and programmed by the girls  themselves.
Vanuatu 3-member team came 100th out of some 130 coutries last year and this year they are looking forward to improve their posittion, with the exprience that the girls have gained.
Witnessing the presentation yesterday, were sponsors, parents and the media.
The Director of Women's Affairs, Doresday Kenneth Watson, was also  present with words of encouragement for the girls and a prayer of protection and blessing over them before they travel out of the country.
The team of girls aged below the age of 16, along with their mentor and team leader will be leaving the country tomorrow, Tuesday 11th of August and should be back in country on Tuesday next week.
