Chinese Ambassador this morning present to His excellency President Obed Moses Talis the letter of Credential.

During the presentation, Ambassador Zou Haicheng said the Chinese government attaches high importance to China - Vanuatu Relation, and always sees Vanuatu as a good friend and good partner in the pacific region.

He said since the establishment of diplomatic relations 36 years ago, significant progress has been made in our bilateral ties.

Ambassador Zou recalls back to 2014 where Prime Minister Joe Natuman during that time met with President, Xi Jinping agreed to establish a strategic partnership featuring mutual respect and common development, pointing a way forward for China - Vanuatu relations.

President of the Republic of Vanuatu, Father Obed Moses Talis said Vanuatu government will continue to recognize China's positive contribution towards international peace and security and global issue.

On the news that is related, Kingdom of Thailand through Ambassador Nantana Sivakua also presents the letter of credential this morning to the head of state.
