A search and rescue operation is underway, with the help of a search team from a cruise ship.
The operation is in search of 4 children from the island of Ambrym, in the Malampa provins, who went missing after going on a fishing trip.
The four were last seen last Saturday in two canoes, fishing of the coast of their island.
The search operation has found one of the canoes used by the children, in the vicinity of North West Malekula.
VBTC News has received information that the boys were last seen the the two canoes, one painted blue and other other canoe had no paint on it.
The information was confirmed by the Ranon Primary School Headmaster, in North Ambrym.
Mr John Worworkon, who further stated that police have told them that they willl contiue searching till today before making any pronouncements.
