People living with disabiltites in Port Vila and south Efate, had a wonderful oportunity to participate and learn more about sport and reducing non-communicable diseases.
Maxwell Nasack said that both able-bodied people and people living with disabilities must engage in sporting exercises to stay fit and healthy and avoid being diagnosed with the deadly non-communicable diseases.
Mr Nasack made these comments during the people with disabilty's open day, in Port Vila, last Thursday.
On the day the participants got an opportunity to try out various sports disciplines and Mr Nasack said that it was an enjoyable day, well spent.
ParaSports disciplines present on the day were Athletics, table tennis, rowing among others.
The Vanuatu Broadcasting & Television Corporation owns a National Radio Service called Radio Vanuatu, two commercial FM Station Paradise FM in Port Vila and Halo FM in Luganville and a National Television Service free to Air Television Blong Vanuatu.
