A new bill is being introduced in Vanuatu, which requires Identification for the purchase of alchohol.

This is especially for younger citizens, and is to ensure that underage people below the age of 18 are not buying or even consuming alcohol.

The Environmental health and wash officer for the WHO and Vanuatu's health ministry, Xavier Watt, has said that they are putting together a committee to ensure compliance to the law, once passed.
