This year 2019 marks 100 years that Alexander Roache's decendants continue to search for relatives of their Great Grandfather in Vanuatu.
Alexander Roache was one of Vanuatu's endetured labourers taken to Queensland Australia to work in 1863.
And a 4th generation decendant of his, Brandon Costello, told VBTC News that they know that their ancestor came from the island of Santo, and it has been a longtime wish of their to meet their families.
Mr Costello and his families are still searching for their relatives and says that this is especially for the benefit of the younger generations as they know very little about their history as there is no one to tell them.
