Work is progressing well on Port Vila's Bauerfield airport runway.
Airport Vanuatu Limited, AVL, confirmed that last night further milling and paving work continued.
VBTC News understands that AVL has completed new pavements over the first 2,000 metres or 2 kilometres of the runway, beginning at the western end of the runway closest to Mele village to the eastern end.
Further work on adding more tarseal on the runway, cleaning and line marking are continuing.
The Vanuatu Broadcasting & Television Corporation owns a National Radio Service called Radio Vanuatu, two commercial FM Station Paradise FM in Port Vila and Halo FM in Luganville and a National Television Service free to Air Television Blong Vanuatu.
