The office of the Prime Minister has confirmed that the Council of Ministers' secretariat is still closed.
Authorities have said the the Public Service Commission is responsible for appointing a new secretary to COM, and none has been made so far.
VBTC was not able to get an interview with the PSC chairperson, but understands that the COM has met to discuss the issues, but a paper has not been released on their decisions.
