Minister of Internal Affairs, Andrew Napuat has called on the newly appointed Secretary Generals to ensure each civil servant within their provincial administrations must plan, to target areas of priority as identified by each area councils' strategic plans.

He also called on the Secretary Generals to demonstrate their leadership and ensure all eighteen (18) Area Councils produce clear strategic plans.

Mr Napuat says its important to implement the government's decentralisation policy, in order for services be provided to people.

He then congratulated the Public Services Commission’s Chairman for the intention to lead a high delegation, with Director Generals representing all Government Ministries, to visit provincial centers around Vanuatu, within the first quarter of this year 2019.
