The Government of Bangladesh is now working on steps to assist 101 of its nationals who are currently stranded in Vanutu, having entered without appropriate legal documentation.
The men are part of a group of Bangladeshi people who left their homes to work in Australia in Vanuatu.
The men claim to have not known that the man making the employment arrangements was lying or conning them.
This week a Bangladesh government official arrived in Port Vila and has said that they are looking at repatriating the workers.
Harun Rashid, who the men's spokesperson, has said that they are happy with the help that the government and people of Vanuatu have given them so far.
And that they are not sure how they will go back home and repay loans which they all took to secure them this opportunity to work overseas.
