Drugs shortage in the Vila Central Hospital has raised much concern from citizens, especially patients of Vanuatu's main referal hospital.
The shortage was confirmed by the Wilson Lilip who is the Head of hospital pharmacy or medical store.
Mentioning especially, amoxcicelin and that they have a limit supply of prescription drugs such as panadol.
The Ministry of Education's Director General, George Taleo, has told VBTC News that the shortage is a result of the process of approving and ordering that the Ministry has had to go through.
Stating that the Council Of Ministers approved the Ministry's order in March of this year.
Locals have had to resort to seeking medical help from private clinics and commercial pharmacies.
