A Pacific Regional management workshop for selected customs and Inland Revenue staff is currently underway at the Ramada Resort in Port Vila.
Ms Ravoni of the Pacific Islands Tax Administration, PITA, Head office, said that the 10 days workshop is aimed at building the capasity and technical assistance of regional customs and inland revenue staff.
It will also help ensure that the regional staff progress and change work in their ever-changing working environment.
The 26 participants are staff that have been selected from Customs and Inland Revenue staff from the Solomon islands, Papua New Guinea, Nauru, the Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Tuvalu, the Cook Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu.
